| Mountain of Gold |
Lachung: We reached at Lachung nearly 4 pm at afternoon. This place was bit developed than Lachen, and equally stands with its own beauty. The village is sat at the lap of Snowlion, a tall mountain.[...]You can imagine as the fountain from Snowlion is pouring at Lachung's head, and Lachung river is washing the feet of the village.
Next morning we wake up early to watch sunrise. It’s incredible here; I couldn't believe that I was watching a mountain made of gold, just in front of me.

| Yumthung Valley |
Yumthung: We took the breakfast and left for Yumthung and Zeropoint. The road from Lachung to Yumthung is through a garden full of flowers of thousand colors. It’s actually a sanctuary. You got some colorful birds also to notice. And redundant to say, the views of the mountain again is just awesome. We reached Yumthung valley and had some noodles, and walk down towards the valley,
a stream waving with a sweet sound. I can spend hours here just by watching the wonderful landscape. There is a another beautiful village Katao, near Lachung. We didn’t manage to visit there because of time shortage. Really, the places of Sikim are just beating one another, its impossible to judge among them to find the best one.
Zero point: After spending one more hour we drive towards zero point. We touched zero point around 11. As the name suggest, the road ends here. The purpose to visit here was to play with snow. As we visited in summer, this was the only place we got full of snow. We played with snow, throw snow bombs to one another, slips through it and severe with it. Enjoyed a lot here and drive back to Lachung. And, yes don't forget to a peg of Rum here.
This was the end of our tour. We said bye to North Sikim , and move back towards Gangtok, reached after dark.
Next day we did some shopping for family from M.G market and Lal market in Gangtok and later Dawa took us back to NJP at afternoon and said “visit again”.
